On the second day of the second phase of Congress’ Campaign in the run up to the upcoming assembly polls in the state Rahul Gandhi promised that a Congress government will lead Uttar Pradesh back to the top position again.
Expressing his concern over the deteriorating conditions in the state Rahul Gandhi said, “I feel angry that the people from Uttar Pradesh are forced to go to other places for jobs. You built the shining Metro in Delhi. You made roads in Maharashtra and even in Ladak. Why cannot they get a job here in their own state? You trusted BSP and SP. Bothe talk about particular castes only and not about the people as a whole. What happened? No roads, electricity, water, justice or jobs and so no development.”
