Slamming the party governments of BSP, SP and BJP for causing sufferings to the people of the Uttar Pradesh for over last two decades, Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi, who has been spearheading the Congress campaign in the poll bound Uttar Pradesh, has said that people often ask him why they have to leave UP for jobs outside.
Highlighting the state of bad governance and corruption in the government, Congress (I) General Secretary Rahul Gandhi said there is no dearth of money for development but BSP ministers are stealing it. The money is not reaching the poor who need it most. Influential people do not feel the problem but it is the poor who suffer on this account, he said. People of UP are hardworking, talented and honest but BSP, SP and BSP as ‘power brokers’ have no vision to lead the way for development, alleged Rahul Gandhi. Highlighting that states like Delhi, Haryana and Andhra Pradesh under Congress (I) governments are developing fast, Rahul Gandhi said if given chance this time, Congress (I) will put UP also on fast track development.
