Priyanka Gandhi Vadra in Jagdishpur: Congress treats everyone equally
Priyanka Gandhi Vadra while addressing an election meeting at Jagdishpur in Amethi, on the second day of her second leg of campaign in Amethi and Raebareli, urged the people to strengthen the hands of Congress by supporting and electing Congress candidates in the upcoming assembly election in Uttar Pradesh. She added that her party Congress identifies with the rights of people and makes policies based on them.
You did not have a Congress Government here in the past 22 years. The difference between Congress and other parties is that Congress treats everyone equally. It believes in inclusive development. They never think development in terms of caste, creed or religion. Everyone will be benefitted with this ideology. It helps development. It is good for the future of your children. So please think yourself when you go to exercise your franchise on 15th as only recently you are attached with this constituency…
What are your future requirements? You want schools for your children, roads, facilities for water and health; all these are your rights. Congress has identified these rights and it makes policies based on them. It is because of this quality Congress implemented MNREGA. But this scheme has not been properly implementing in your state while other states have been reaping its benefits… The funds sent are not reaching you… The state Government eats it up. Congress has made policies like Right to Information and Right to Education, all identifying your rights, to take you forward…
