Rahul Gandhi: Only Congress is serious about Minorities, others cheated them

While addressing various public rallies in Uttar Pradesh, Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi said that Congress (I) is aware of the issues of the minority Muslim community and also that only Congress is committed to find a solutions to their problems.  “There are socio-economic issues.  Education is another important issue. Congress (I)-led UPA government appointed Sachhar Committee to recommend measures for socio-economic improvement of Muslim community”, informed Rahul Gandhi.

Rahul Gandhi also said that the recommendations of the Sachhar Committee were implemented in Congress (I) ruled states. But Mayawati has not done so in UP and as a result non-one benefitted. Congress led government has recently announced reservations for them in government and educational institutions, added Rahul Gandhi.  Congress (I) has also recently announced waiver of Rs 50,000 loans taken by the weavers who mostly belongs to the minority community. Rahul Gandhi also informed the people regarding the relief package approved by the Central government for helping the Bunkars in the state who mostly belonged to minority community.
