Congress President and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi claimed that the development we see now in West Bengal are the results of the policies by the earlier Congress Government in the state as well as at the Centre. She also expressed her concerns over the difficulties being faced by the farmers in West Bengal. The Congress-led UPA Government at the Centre has been putting in its sincere efforts to frame policies to find solutions to the poor farmers. The state government also should take initiatives in this regard, said Sonia Gandhi.
