Shahdol: Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi launched his party’s campaign for the upcoming Assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh by addressing a huge election rally in Shahdol on Thursday. While speaking on the occasion he slammed the ruling BJP government in the state by saying that hunger in Madhya Pradesh is the same as in Africa. “Recent UNICEF report says there are more hungry people in Madhya Pradesh like in Africa” said Rahul Gandhi and added “These people (in BJP) do not know that when there is hunger, there can be no development”.
