Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi, while addressing party workers in Karnataka, launched a scathing attack on Central govt and Prime Minister Narender Modi. "He (the PM) visits United States, China, England to meet "suited-booted" people, but has anybody seen him mingle with distressed farmers, the poor or unemployed", he asked. "Modiji used to change his dress 16 times when he goes to America. It organises riots in poll-bound states", said Rahul Gandhi, asking people to be cautious on the communal harmony front. “When the UPA was in power, Rs 70,000 crore of farm loans were waived off. Farmers were supported. "For us, we don't have any caste, religious or linguistic differences among farmers, labourers and poor", said the Congress leader.
