Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi while addressing a public rally at Bisauli in Uttar Pradesh, said that only a government of aam aadmi can bring changes in the state and lead state back on the top. Encouraging the Congress workers Rahul Gandhi concluded, “I trust you. I know that you can change Uttar Pradesh. Again you can show the path to the entire country. At Centre we have a Congress Government and if we can have a Congress Government in UP too we can ensure that the funds meant for you reach you correctly and promptly.” Mocking the SP and BSP he quipped that the money will not be eaten up by elephant or Cycle. Not sparing the BJP he said that the BJP is already on a ventilator.

Addressing Congress workers’ rally at Akbarpur in Uttar Pradesh on the last day of his second phase campaign All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary Rahul Gandhi said that there is only one elephant in the entire world that feeds on money and that is in Lucknow. He also asserted that UP will develop as well but for that the state needs a government of aam aadmi. Only Congress can deliver such a government. Rahul Gandhi promised that a Congress government will guide the state to the top position again.
“Uttar Pradesh is the biggest state in our country. I am confident that the youth and the poor of this state will bring changes in UP. We will ensure your involvement in Congress as well,” he promised. While concluding his address Rahul Gandhi asserted that the Congress is a party that works for everybody. He said, “I will not make big promises but only one promise and that I will fight till we bring positive changes in Uttar Pradesh with your support.”

Rahul Gandhi will redeem UP from corrupt Mayawati govt.

Congress (I) General Secretary Rahul Gandhi is working hard to redeem people of UP from corrupt Mayawati government. People are now recalling that it was Congress (I) which under the leadership of Nehru had started mega projects in Uttar Pradesh.  Once upon a time UP was standard bearer of the country but the same state is now lagging behind.  Why? The only answer the people find is that non-Congress governments over the last twenty years have ruined the state. Once in central UP Kanpur was known as Manchester of east. Today it is junk yard of closed factories. Once sugar mills in eastern UP were in abundance but are now in despair.  Irrigation canals are drying up and land acquisition has been badly handled by Mayawati government. Rahul Gandhi has already demonstrated his able leadership qualities during 2009 Parliament elections in UP. It is Rahul Gandhi who on the basis of solid foundation build initially (during Nehru’s period) is going to work out promising future of the state of UP, Congress (I) said.
