Congress (I) has been saying that the Mayawati’s BSP government has been playing fraud with health of the people of Uttar Pradesh. BSP Supreme on the promise of working for ‘dalits’ had cornered their vote. But during the last eight years she did not do care for ‘dalits’. It is Congress (I), which has been continuously working for improving the conditions of ‘dalits’ and poor people. Some districts in Uttar Pradesh are most backward in health-care services. Congress (I)-led UPA government launched National Rural Health Mission scheme for improving rural health services for the poor in the state of Uttar Pradesh. It is a fully financed central scheme. Instead of efficiently implemented the scheme its funds were looted by state officials in conspiracy with drug mafia. The concerned state ministers were also involved in the loot, which led to murder of three doctors dealing with the NRHM funds. Health minister Ananat Kumar Mishra and family planning minister Babu Singh Kushwaha were also sacked for their alleged involvement in the NRHM scam in April.
