Sonia Gandhi in Gurdaspur ( Punjab) Part 2

Congress President Sonia Gandhi while addressing an election rally in Gurdaspur, Punjab said that the Akali-BJP government had destroyed and devastated the State and blocked development. She urged the voters to replace the present government in Punjab with a pro-poor Congress Government for all-round development of the state.
“For the development of Punjab UPA Government at the Centre started the air-service from Pathankot to Delhi, improved the Delhi-Gurdaspur rail services, approved railway line between Kaleyard and Beas, started training centres to provide computer training for the youth and training centres for women, organized job Melas for helping the youngsters to secure employment in reputed organisations. UPA under a scheme had given crores of rupees to the sulking industry in the state so that entrepreneurs invest money here but the Akalis never implemented the Central scheme,” alleged Sonia Gandhi.
