Sonia Gandhi wants people to ask BJP where the Central funds gone

Sonia Gandhi, Congress President and UPA Chairperson, while addressing a public rally in Uttarakhand alleged that that the BJP Government in the state did not implement the Central policies beneficial for the people properly in the state. 

Attacking BJP for not properly utilising central funds, the Congress President said, "The Congress-led UPA government under the leadership of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had sent huge amount of funds for development of Uttarkahand”. Sonia Gandhi urged the people to ask BJP whether this money was properly utilized.  Sonia Gandhi argued that the BJP was giving away jobs meant for SCs/STs to its own people and as a result the people belonging to backward classes are leading a pathetic life in the state.

Sonia Gandhi added that the Congress has given due attention to Uttarakhand and the UPA government has sanctioned several prestigious institutes like IIMs, AIIMS, NITs for the state.

"Congress does not believe in false promises. It fulfills all promises. I assure you we – the Congress- will stick to our promises. So please vote for Congress," Sonia Gandhi said. Sonia Gandhi also requested people support.
