Congress President and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi has been leading the Congress for the past fifteen years successfully. She is the guiding force behind most of the pro-poor welfare measures implemented by the UPA Government at the Centre. Sonia Gandhi's daughter Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is also a perfect ambassador of the Congress and Congress-led UPA Government at the centre.
