Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Vice President Rahul Gandhi paid floral tributes to country’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru as the nation celebrates his 126th birth anniversary on Saturday. Former PM Manmohan Singh also came to pay tribute to Nehru at his memorial in Shantivan. Cultural programs were organised in the memory of late Pandit Nehru who played an eminent role in India’s freedom struggle.
